Alex is a lifelong student of yoga, wellness, and embodied living — someone who has moved through many traditions to understand the language of the body and the quiet truths it reveals. She has explored Power, Baptiste, Hot, Restorative, Rocket, and Vinyasa Flow, allowing each lineage to shape her approach to yoga. Her personal practice is grounded in Ashtanga, a rhythm that supports her discipline and devotion, while her teaching draws from all the paths she has walked.

With over 500 hours of training under world-renowned teachers, Alex specializes in flexibility and core training, yoga for beginners, and guiding students back to themselves through intentional movement, breath, and mindful awareness. Her work focuses on self-love, inner steadiness, and the courage to meet yourself exactly where you are.

With an Instagram community of over half a million people, Alex has cultivated a global brand rooted in presence, exploration, and meaningful connection. She travels the world teaching classes and workshops, and her sought-after retreats welcome students from across the globe to luxury destinations in Greece, Kenya, St. Lucia, Jamaica, and beyond.

Her teaching embodies a delicate balance of strength and softness, discipline and curiosity — inviting students to grow, expand, and return home to themselves both on and off the mat.

BAHAYOGI

Bahayogi is Alex in her most personal form. It is where you meet the human behind the practice.

Here, you see the real-life application of yoga. Beach flows at sunrise. Ashtanga in quiet morning light. Strength and mobility work that feels both challenging and accessible. Honest reflections, humor, and the lessons she gathers from travel and daily life.

Bahayogi is also where Alex celebrates liberation through movement. Carnival lives here, too. Feathers, rhythm, and embodied joy. For her, Carnival is not a performance; it is a celebration. It is reclamation. A space where the body is free, the feminine is honored, and expression becomes a form of prayer.

In Bahayogi, discipline and freedom sit side by side. Structure and play. Softness and fire. It is the face, voice, and heart of the BAHA Collective.

BAHA YOGA RETREATS

BAHA means flow, inspired by vaha, the Sanskrit idea of being carried, moved, and transformed. It honors Alex’s Bahamian roots, yet it is not tied to one place. BAHA is a pathway that can live anywhere in the world.

BAHA also stands for:

Breath

Asana

Heart

Adventure

Every retreat is shaped by these four pillars. You breathe deeper. You move with intention. You listen inward. You let adventure open new parts of you.

BAHA Yoga Retreats brings this philosophy to carefully selected destinations across the globe. Venues are chosen for their connection to nature, their sense of calm, and their respect for local culture and community. Guests are invited to move through each place as visitors, not tourists.

Retreats offer twice-daily practice, nourishing food, time in nature, and space to rest. They create room for both transformation and ease. They are an invitation to reset, remember, and return home to yourself.

BAHAROOTS

BahaRoots is the grounding force of the collective. It is Alex’s living journal of nature, farming, and birding.

It began in the stillness of the pandemic. A small garden. Hands in soil. Seedlings pushing through. Long mornings watching birds and learning their names, their colors, their habits. What started as a hobby became a way of life.

BahaRoots reminds you that yoga does not end on the mat. It is also how you grow, tend, observe, and live in relationship with the land.
